After a seemingly endless
off-season, our wonderful racing is finally back tomorrow night under the lights at Daytona
International Speedway for the Sprint Unlimited live on FOX at 8:00 p.m. ET. The race will be split into two segments (75
laps total) with a competition caution at lap 25 to separate the segments.
To be eligible to race in the
field of twenty-five drivers, they had to meet one of the following criteria:
- 2014 Coors Light Pole Award winners
- 2014 Chase for the Sprint Cup drivers
- Former Sprint Unlimited race winners
- Former Daytona 500 pole winners who competed in the Sprint Cup Series full-time in 2014
- All remaining spots were filled by drivers highest in the 2014 Sprint Cup Series driver standings who weren’t already eligible
