Lofton, College Complete & Mattioli Alliance
Bronx, NY. July 5, 2011..Chase Mattioli Racing (CMR) and CollegeComplete.com have entered into a sponsorship alliance with Justin Lofton for the balance of the 2011 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season. Beginning with the July 7th event at KentuckySpeedway, the No. 46 Lofton driven Toyota will showcase CMR's primary sponsor, CollegeComplete.com (http://www.collegecomplete.com) as well as associate sponsors, including Anthem College Online (www.anthemcollege.edu), Grand Canyon University (www.gcu.edu), Advance Payment Services (www.joinAPS.com), Howard University's WHUR 96.3 FM (www.whur.com) and Papillon & Moyer Construction (www.papillon-moyer.com).
The July 7th event will mark the first event of the season that will see Lofton reunited with Eddie Sharp Racing (ESR). In 2009, Lofton won the 2009 ARCA Racing Series championship behind the wheel of ESR equipment. The special bond and chemistry between Lofton and Sharp promises to be a potent combination for the balance of the sixteen races on the 2011 NASCAR Camping World Series schedule.
"Justin has shown his ability to perform at a high level both on and off the track. It was a natural fit for us to come together and we look forward to working with Justin to achieve his goals both on the track as well as with his education," commented College Complete's Dan Haim.
"We have long been big fans of Justin's. He is a great talent and will represent College Complete and our other marketing partners in a grand style. I have no doubt that he and Eddie Sharp will pick up just where they left off and put the College Complete No. 46 at the front of the pack each and every time they are on the track," commented Joe Mattioli, CMR's Managing Partner. "This is a great addition to our existing efforts, where CMR has fielded Trucks for Chase Mattioli, Bryan Silas, JR Fitzpatrick and Chad McCumbee, and will continue to do so," Mattioli concluded.
Lofton currently sits 18th in the driver point standings after the first nine NCWTS races, with a best finish of 10th. He also led his first laps of NASCAR competition two races ago in Kansas, leading the way for seven laps. Lofton earned four top-five and eight top-10 finishes last season during his rookie season in the Truck Series.
"I couldn't be more excited about this partnership with College Complete," Lofton said. "It's very hard these days for people to pursue higher education while balancing work and other obligations. Our partners at CollegeComplete.com, Anthem College Online, and Grand Canyon University make it easier for them to fit education into their lives. We're providing the outlet to make race fans aware that there are other options out there."
"As a team owner, driver and student, I could not be more pleased than to see CMR expand its activities to support Justin and other rising stars," Chase Mattioli commented.
The partnership between Chase Mattioli Racing and College Complete is the first of its kind, bringing higher education opportunities directly to the large and loyal NASCAR fan base.

About Justin Lofton
A native of Westmorland, California, Justin Lofton raced a variety of machines in numerous divisions en route to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. He started early, at the age of 11, racing downhill mountain bikes before transitioning to the bumpy desert terrain as he raced off road machines. Eventually, he opted to make the move to stockcars. He honed his skills behind the wheel of a late model, winning at one of the country's most beloved and historic bullrings, the Toyota Speedway at Irwindale. Lofton then moved on to the K&N Pro Series West where he stayed for two years, before making the jump to ARCA Racing Series competition in 2008 when he joined Eddie Sharp Racing. After just three months and eight races in ARCA, Lofton scored the outside pole at Michigan International Speedway, followed by his first series win. Through the season he scored three top-five finishes and five top-10s. And that was just the beginning. 2009 was a stellar season for Lofton, as he dominated the series en route to the championship. He led the series with 15 top-five and 19 top-10 finishes. He showcased his diversity behind the wheel, earning six checkered flags with race wins spanning superspeedways to short tracks (Talladega, Berlin, Pocono, Chicagoland, Toledo, and Salem). He also led a whopping 1,005 laps spanning 15 races. In 2010, Lofton moved to NASCAR, competing full-time in the Camping World Truck Series. Through the season he earned a best finish of third with four top-five and eight top-10 finishes. After the first nine events in 2011, Lofton rejoined Eddie Sharp Racing as the team looks to recapture its 2009 success.
