Kligerman Finds New Home at Red Horse Racing

Bright and early Monday morning, the news broke that Brad Keselowski Racing and driver Parker Kligerman had split ways eleven races into the Camping World Truck Series season.  Kligerman was having a good 2012 season, recording seven top-ten finishes and is sixth in the point standings.  The only thing Brad Keselowski Racing stated was that they "…have elected to make a driver change for the Team's No. 29 Ram in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series."  At Michigan, Brad Keselowski himself will drive the truck and at Bristol, Ryan Blaney will pilot the No. 29 Ram.

Through everything, Kligerman stayed positive, taking to his Twitter account, @pkligerman, to post positive comments, never once showing that he was distraught.

Today, Thursday, it was announced that Kligerman would be joining the Red Horse Racing stable (Get it? Red Horse Racing…stable.  Sorry, it had to be done.)  starting at Michigan International Speedway for the VFW 200.  Parker will be piloting the No. 7 Red Horse Racing Toyota Tundra for the remainder of the 2012 Camping World Truck Series season with Chad Kendrick as his crew chief.  Kendrick was partly responsible for leading the No. 7 team to a victory at Daytona in February.

Kligerman is very happy about his new ride, “When you look at truck series teams right now, there’s no doubt Red Horse Racing is definitely one of the top organizations. I’m really excited to make the move here with the support of Tom DeLoach and everyone at this team to see how we can help the team and be successful. It sounds so cliché to say I’m excited, but it’s the only word to say because it perfectly describes what I’m looking forward to doing, and that’s winning in these trucks,” Kligerman continued, “I feel like Red Horse gives you the best equipment they can and at the end of the day that’s all you look for as a driver; the actual chance to win, not just the trophy. So it’s our job now to go out there and get the trophy and I feel like this is a place I can do that.”

Tom DeLoach, Red Horse Racing's Managing Partner, has a lot of faith in Kligerman's talent.  "Things happen quickly in the racing world. We were busy getting trucks ready to race in Michigan and received a call from Parker, asking if we can get another entry ready. Parker has impressive credentials and we believe he is an emerging talent so we readily agreed and began preparations."

Best of luck to Parker and Red Horse Racing as they kick off the beginning of their partnership  at Michigan International Speedway.
