As some of you know, I live in New York, specifically Staten Island, where we live a quarter of a mile away from the beach; add in Hurricane Sandy and that doesn't make for a very pretty picture. Our house is done: we have no power, our basement is flooded, as is our first floor. That may not seem bad, but our air conditioner, heat, and oil tank are all in the basement, which means that our house is virtually incapable of being lived in. Saying that I've been crying is definitely an understatement.

It breaks my heart to say this, but I have no idea when the next time I'll be able to write an article will be, so for the time being, I won't be writing anything, because, well, we have no house and are temporarily staying at my grandma's. I'll most definitely be back, it's just a matter of when.
The amount of love and support my parents and I have received over the past fifteen hours from everyone in the NASCAR community has been truly incredible and I thank you all for all of your prayers! My thoughts and prayers are with all of the people who have been affected by Hurricane Sandy.
